I grew up in a small Darjeeling village, where the morning air smelled of dew and fresh leaves. Grandma would send me with a woven basket at dawn—just two tender leaves and a bud each time—to learn patience and care. I remember how Mrs. Lhamo, our neighbor, whispered tips: "Never rush the pick, let the leaf tell you when it’s ready." Those lessons in respect for the land and its people shaped everything.

When I moved to Dubai, I missed more than flavor—I missed the conversation around a simple cup of tea.
